The Healthy Lifestyle Festival

The Healthy Lifestyle Festival will take place on July 12, 2025, in Ville-Marie, Témiscamingue. From the Olympic triathlon to kids’ categories, including a race for toddlers and even a half-triathlon or duathlon (for those who don’t swim), there’s something for everyone, regardless of skill level. Get ready for an epic day of pushing your limits!

A healthy lifestyle—absolutely!

There is a growing collective recognition of the importance of a healthy lifestyle, a factor that contributes to longevity. It is a value that ranks high on the list of priorities for the vast majority of people. However, putting these habits into practice—no matter how small they may be—is much harder to sustain than one might think.

A group of people came up with the idea of creating a festival dedicated to inspiring people to rethink their habits in order to elevate their daily quality of life to a higher level. Drawing on a shared passion for sports—having participated in triathlons themselves—and thanks to the motivation of dedicated volunteers, the founders were able to bring their concept to life and offer the general public an experience in tune with the times.

Various types of triathlons at the Healthy Lifestyle Festival

There will be two categories featured at the event, which will take place at the Ville-Marie Marina. The first, more competitive category consists of an Olympic triathlon: a 1.5-kilometer swim, a 40-kilometer bike ride, and a 10-kilometer run. The organizers are offering three shorter distance options to allow more people to participate. In all cases, there is a true competitive spirit with official timing, rules, and, of course, a podium and medals. Registration for this competitive segment is available online only until the Thursday before the event.

The second category, which is more recreational, is similar to the one described above but without official timing. It’s ideal for those who want to participate without pressure or for young people experiencing their first triathlon. As for registration, it can be done either online or on-site. You have until the morning of the event to sign up. What’s more, discounted rates are available.

Healthy Lifestyle Festival – Accessible Sports Challenges

Over the course of a beautiful day, this event brings together a large community to highlight the joy of being active and taking on challenges. Participating in multiple sports in less than 24 hours is a unique experience that many motivated people are eager to try.

This festival aims to foster a sense of community and encourage athletic performance, particularly among young people, so they can discover their own competitive spirit. Additionally, the festival helps show those who doubt themselves that triathlon categories are accessible and that you don’t have to be a top-level athlete to participate. Health and well-being are important—and, above all, achievable!

Starting at 12:30 p.m., the winners in each category will be invited onto the podium to receive medals and gift cards from local businesses in recognition of their participation. After that, all that’s left is to wish them a good rest!
