Abitibi-Témiscamingue Tourism
Here, nature speaks loudly.
And we listen
Since 1978, Tourisme Abitibi-Témiscamingue has been around to promote the region. From welcoming visitors to promotion and development, the team works every day to ensure that Abitibi-Témiscamingue can be discovered, experienced, and shared.
As a regional tourism association (RTA) officially recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Tourism, we work closely with our members and local partners. Together, we develop the region’s attractiveness, support local initiatives, and shape sustainable, human, and memorable tourism experiences rooted in the local identity.
Our work is also based on a clear vision for the future. In collaboration with the World Centre of Excellence for Destinations (GCED), created with the support of the World Tourism Organization, our strategic planning draws on their recommendations, including the CULTURAT approach. This approach places culture, territory, and communities at the heart of tourism development.
In short, we’re here to connect people to the territory. And the territory to the right people.
