Your all-inclusive package, but in the woods

Abitibi-Témiscamingue is a true paradise for walleye and northern pike, and is also home to moose and black bears.

And even though they’re often associated with hunting and fishing, outfitters are the perfect place for a getaway in the woods—whether you’re looking to enjoy nature with family or friends, or even for a business meeting.

Help us protect our ecosystems from invasive alien species.

As a region of lakes and rivers, we are particularly committed to protecting our natural ecosystems. Please follow the cleanup procedures carefully.

The presence of an invasive alien species (IAS) in the area can have significant environmental, social, and economic impacts: decreased value of waterfront properties, disruption to boating and swimming, loss of biodiversity and impacts on human health, reduced quality of recreational fishing leading to economic impacts on tourism, etc.

How do I do this?

Inspect and clean all your boating equipment before and after each use, away from the water.
