Val-d’Or Winter Festival
February 7, 8, and 9, 2025, at the Cité de l’Or.
This year marks the 25th edition of Val-d’Or’s Hiver en fête. Fireworks, outdoor shows, snow sculpting, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snow tubing, sledding, and a hot chocolate bar—to name just a few—will be on the agenda! Let’s go play outside! GO!

The Lorrainville Carnival
February 13, 15, 16, 21, and 22, 2025, in Lorainville
Our friends at Tourisme Témiscamingue have worked hard to organize the 60th edition of the Lorrainville Carnival!
There will be winter activities for the whole family, music…and even some surprises! The event runs for two weeks.
On the program this year:
- Snowman Bingo;
- Strongman Circuit;
- Games;
- Vintage snowmobile exhibition;
- Talent show;
- Dinner and Show.

The Cadillac Carnival

It’s time to enjoy winter in Cadillac. This winter festival offers activities for the whole family, both indoors and outdoors. There’s something for everyone!

- Disco Skating Night;

The Rouyn-Noranda Winter Festival offers a wide range of activities to help you make the most of the cold season! The most daring take on the bungee challenge, while others compete individually or in teams in various sports competitions. In short, at the end of February, it’s the time of year to GET OUTSIDE!

The Magic of the Snows: Optimist in Amos!
February 21, 22, 23, 2025
"La Magie des neiges" in Amos is a long-standing tradition, now in its 29th year.
The much-anticipated parade will take place downtown and will be followed by fireworks. Of course, there will also be a sledding hill and family activities.
On the program:
- Giant slides (of course!);
- Dog sledding;
- Horse-drawn sleigh rides;
- Snowmobiles;
- Face painting;
- Bingo;
- Fireworks;
- Games and music.
