A stay at an outfitter is like an all-inclusive vacation in the woods with, as a bonus, experts providing advice to improve your hunting or fishing techniques. Our region is known as a fisher’s paradise when it comes to walleyes and northern pikes, but it is also the natural habitat of the moose and the black bear. Although we often associate them with hunting and fishing, outfitters are an ideal place to simply enjoy nature with your family or your friends, or even to have a business meeting (but not during the hunting season, of course). Come and meet with these professionals who have made a living out of their passion!

Small game hunting
Whether you practice it by walking, patrolling or guided, there is a large offer in the region for “small” hunting. Our forests are populated by partridge and snowshoe hare.
Big game hunting
Several of our outfitters offer unique hunting experiences for big game, including black bear and moose, which are found in abundance in our forests.
