Wildlife reserve La Vérendrye  

This wildlife reserve is not only magnificent to cross  
by car, it also contains 800 fish-bearing lakes and some great hunting grounds. Take the time to stop by.

The Refuge Pageau  

Come meet moose, wolf and bear and all the permanent lodgers! The Refuge Pageau is a shelter for abandoned or wounded wild animals and discover the history of its founder, Michel Pageau, through an installation created by Moment Factory.  

Lieu historique national d’Obadjiwan— Fort-Témiscamingue  

Between an enchanted forest and a beautiful beach along Lake Témiscamingue, in a place frequented for thousands of years by First Nations, was once an important trading post, Obadjiwan-Fort-Témiscamingue. Learn the highlights of the two centuries of rivalry between the French and the English for the control of the fur trade and the lifestyle of those who inhabited the trading post permanently.  

Mining experiences

Mining exploitation is at the heart of the development of the region. Learn to know the geological phenomena that have left so much wealth by visiting the Musée minéralogique, while visiting Mine Canadian Malartic  the Canadian Malartic Mine will introduce you to the technological advances of the largest open-pit mine.

Become a miner for a day at La Cité de l’Or and experience an underground descent 91 metres (300 feet) into the galleries of the Ancienne-Mine-Lamaque.

Anisipi – A water-discovery route

The Anisipi circuit mixes the arts, technology, architecture, cultural heritage, history, and natural resources.  It is made out of four Moment Factory installations, several circuits and exibitions spread across the Amos-Harricana territory.
