Enjoy the Migrating Birds’ Return in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

Often, it’s the songs of our winged friends that announce the return of warmer days. Freshly back from their vacations in the Sun destinations, they revive again the auditory landscape of our everyday lives.

Why not spare time to better admire them? At the Marais Antoine (Antoine Swamp), in Roquemaure, nests a wide variety of species. Interpretive panels can be found along the path, revealing a plethora of information about birds and their lifestyle in this habitat, among which we get tips on how to best find them. It’s an easy walk, not too long, to the satisfaction of both children and their parents.

Our collaborator, Sophie Mediavilla-Rivard, noted several other locations suited for watching our feathered friends. You can read her article here (french content).
