L’Hiver en fête de Val-d'Or
February 7, 8, 9, 2025, at the Cité de l’Or site
This year marks the 25th edition of L'Hiver en fête de Val-d'Or. Fireworks, outdoor shows, snow sculpture, horse-drawn carriage rides, maple taffy on snow, sliding, hot chocolate bar, to name just a few activities, will be on the menu! At the count of three, let's play outside! GO!

Le Carnaval de Lorrainville

Our friends at Tourisme Témiscamingue have worked hard to prepare the 60th edition of the Carnaval de Lorrainville!
There will be winter activities for the whole family, music... and even surprises! The event spans two weeks.
This year's program includes:
- Bingo du bonhomme;
- Strongman circuit;
- Games;
- Vintage snowmobile exhibition;
- Young talents show;
- Dinner-show.

This winter festival suggests the following classics: tubing, dog sledding, horse sledding, giant snow maze, electric train rides, etc. The most daring test their courage in bungee jumping. Some participate in corporate street hockey tournaments while others test their endurance during a 5-km or 10-km race on foot. Yes, February is the time of year to step outside and enjoy winter activities.

La magie des neiges Optimiste in Amos!

La Magie des neiges in Amos is a long-standing tradition, now celebrating its 29th edition.
The much-anticipated parade will take place downtown, followed by a fireworks display. Of course, you won’t want to miss the sledding and family-friendly activities!
