Rules of the contest “Getaway at your rhythm!”

Contest Period: From June 24th to August 15th, 2023, inclusive.

Monday, August 28th, 2023, at 12:00 PM: Draw of the winner among all photos that meet the eligibility criteria.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION

GRAND PRIZE: A “Getaway at your rhythm!” in Abitibi-Témiscamingue

Drawing of a grand prize for a stay in Abitibi-Témiscamingue for 2 adults and 2 children includes:

  • Two nights in the accommodation of your choice, whether it’s in one of our national parks, unique accommodations, cabins, or hotels (subject to availability in the 2024 season).
  • Additionally, you have the opportunity to complete your stay by choosing an activity of your choice to experience Abitibi-Témiscamingue at YOUR own pace.

For example:

  • Family pass to one of our two national parks: Parc national d’Aiguebelle or Parc national d’Opémican.
  • Family pass to Toukiparc or Cité de l’Or in Val-d’Or.
  • Family pass to Refuge Pageau or Anisipi, the water discovery circuit.
  • Golf course pass at Club Beattie in La Sarre.
  • Pass to the festival of your choice (subject to availability in the 2024 season).
  • Pass for a workshop, equipment rental or activity of your choice offered by COOP de l’Arrière-Pays.
  • Many other options available!

DETERMINING THE GRAND PRIZE WINNER

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

No purchase necessary. To participate, simply meet the eligibility criteria stated here.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The Contest is open to anyone who has reached the age of majority in their province of residence as of their participation in the contest, except for employees, advertising or promotional agencies, freelancers, and their families.

A photo is considered eligible if it meets the following criteria:

  • It was captured within the territory of Abitibi-Témiscamingue, in the province of Quebec.
  • It relates to the proposed theme: Contest “Getaway at your rhythm!”

Immerse yourself in the rhythm of nature, activities, festivals, and outdoor adventures. Show us how rhythm is ever-present in your vacations in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Rhythm is everywhere!

  • There is no limit to the number of submissions per participant. Tourism Abitibi-Témiscamingue will share participants’ photos throughout the contest via their stories on Facebook and Instagram. The contest winner will be contacted by email.

The contest organizers may, at their sole discretion, eliminate entries that do not meet certain requirements, including:

  • Participants agree not to publish photos featuring a third party without their consent.
  • Photos must be free from any rights, including the rights of use, copy, modification, publication, and distribution, for all types of media.
  • Any compromising photo that promotes violence, racism, nudity, or any other form of illegal behavior will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

In such cases, the participant will be automatically disqualified from the contest, and the photo will be reported to the appropriate authorities.

DEADLINE TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE

Unless otherwise specified, the winner of a prize has 30 days from the date they were officially declared the “winner” to claim their prize. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize, and if applicable, the prize will not be redrawn or awarded.

CONSENT REGARDING THE USE OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATION

By participating in the contest, the winner of a prize consents to the use of their name, city of residence, photograph, image, and any aspect of their person for advertising, promotional, commercial, or other purposes, in all media used by Tourism Abitibi-Témiscamingue, as well as their advertising and promotional agencies, without any form of payment or compensation.

By participating in the contest, you automatically accept these rules.
