L’Éden Rouge – When Maple Syrup Meets Creativity

It’s true that Abitibi-Témiscamingue isn’t known for its maple groves, as they are quite rare in the region. However, what the region is known for is the ingenuity and creativity of its people. L’Éden Rouge is a perfect example of this spirit, particularly with its absolutely DELICIOUS sugar season menu!

For those seeking a unique sugar season experience, L’Éden Rouge is the ideal destination.

L’Éden Rouge: A Family Affair

Nestled in the heart of Saint-Bruno-de-Guigues in Témiscamingue, L’Éden Rouge is a family-run business that grows a beautiful variety of vegetables, herbs, and fruits. In Abitibi-Témiscamingue, it’s the perfect place to celebrate sugar season!

Fresh Creations

A portion of these fresh ingredients is transformed on-site into delightful dishes for the country-style table.

Credit for these succulent creations goes to Chef Angèle-Ann Guimond.

Even better, you can enjoy your meal on-site, in an enchanting setting! The sugar season at L’Éden Rouge is nothing like a traditional sugar shack experience.

For this special time of year, Angèle-Ann crafts a five-course menu inspired by seasonal flavors. The chef uses maple syrup from La Siropière, a business in Duhamel-Ouest.

Tradition… But Not Just That!

Forget the traditional sugar shack experience when visiting L’Éden Rouge for the season. Angèle-Ann reinvents classic dishes with a touch of modernity and refinement—a truly refreshing take on sugar season cuisine!

This special menu is a creative sensory experience, bringing together flavors that aren’t typically found in traditional sugar season dishes. Think melon to refresh the prosciutto, or ravioli filled with a ricotta mousse, Allegretto cheese from Vache à Maillotte, and maple syrup. Tempting, isn’t it?

These unique creations are an absolute must-try during sugar season at L’Éden Rouge!
